We have a whole new display of the cool inks in, oh, about a million different colors. OK, maybe not that many, but we've got tons of colors including the Pearlescent and shimmering inks. Known for their high intensity and clarity of color, the regular FW inks can be used through fine-line nozzles when airbrushing or with brushes or dipper pens. The Pearlescent colors are best applied with dipper pens, ruling pens or brushes.

Screenprint Excitement!

We will be hosting a screen printing class on Sunday, June 27, at 1pm. Here are the big details:
The hour and a half long class costs $25.
You get to burn your very own screen to take home and try out on shirts, posters, etc.
There are only 12 spots open (as of Saturday July 19 there are 8 spaces available) but we can accommodate many more with enough warning.

Color Explosion!

It's all about color this month at San Luis Art Supply.


First of all, we just got in a new supply of Nova Color Acrylics in all the colors of the rainbow. These super-high pigment paints range from $6-$8 a bottle. Think big! They are great for wall murals.


Next, there are these colorful books from Fabriano. Called Bouquet Books because they are so deliciously pretty and cool, these books would make a bright and cheery gift. Seven different types of paper for seven different writing feelings, these books are $3.50 each or $20 for the set of seven.

Here's some more stuff in the store that follows our rainbow theme. We just got in a big order of Bookcloth, in a bunch of colors, to add to our collection of supplies for your book-making needs. And what would an art supply store be without a colorful spectrum of posterboards? We have lots of high quality paper in a range of weights and textures.
